A little bit about me

I am a highly experienced Speech and Language Therapist having qualified over 20 years ago with almost two decades of NHS experience.

Throughout my career, I have worked with people of all ages experiencing a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties. I have held a lecturing role on a postgraduate programme, contributing to the education and development of the next generation of speech and language therapists.

I specialise in supporting adults with acquired communication difficulties resulting from neurological conditions. I also have extensive experience working with adults who stammer and those with voice disorders.

My approach is holistic and compassionate, carefully exploring not only the communication difficulty itself, but also its impact on everyday life, relationships, and family or carers.

Location

I am based in Fulwood, Preston and provide speech and language therapy for adults across Lancashire.

I offer flexible appointments to suit your needs, including home visits, clinic-based sessions in my clinic room and online therapy.

I offer bespoke training to care homes and organisations on a range of communication issues. I communicate with any other healthcare professionals involved in your care. If you are receiving support from an NHS speech and language therapist in addition to my services, I will liaise with them to help ensure your therapy goals and care are aligned.
